A set of strong cleats on both transom/gunwale quarters were mounted just short of the commencement of grab rails, which run through to the console before beginning again as an extended bow rail from just in front of the console. In combination with a strong grab rail around the side console, there was plenty of hand support throughout the boat.
Battery, fuel filter and battery isolating switch were mounted off to each side under the transom and two central hatches offered dual access to an expansive underfloor kill tank/storage compartment.
Sitting pretty
A solid upholstered swivel helm seat was smartly positioned behind the side console, which housed instrumentation, a compass, sonar, a switch panel and engine controls. A small perspex screen offered some protection from wind and spray. The entire floor area was very neatly carpeted.
A second comfortable swivel seat was mounted opposite to and slightly forward of the side console, with another seat base mounted to the floor directly in front of the console for a choice of seating positions or a third seat.
Between these two forward seat positions was another underfloor storage compartment before the floor stepped up to a forward deck that housed another hatch cover and storage compartment.
read on below advertisement Intelligent optimisation of space in such a small boat was shown by an anchor compartment that was formed at the front of the forward casting deck by a small bulkhead and covered in by the bow gunwale.
A strong cleat and bow roller finished off a very neat internal layout.
This boat is a sturdy little workhorse that would suit a wide range of applications, from a truly serious fishing vessel to a leisure boat or a great many commercial options. There is also the added advantage of the layout being totally customisable, all you have to do is ask.
